Sophomore Advisor Information:
Applications for Maine Youth Leadership Seminar and HOBY Seminar will be handed out in advisory this week. These seminars provide students with an opportunity to participate in leadership training, service-learning, and motivation building experiences. Students who are interested in being selected to represent Yarmouth High School should turn their applications into the guidance office by Tuesday, November 20.
(Two sophomores - one for each program will be chosen to represent YHS. Seminars are held in June.)

Freshman Advisor Information:
Freshman group meetings with guidance counselors will begin later this month. These meetings are to introduce freshmen to the guidance office and Student Support Team, to check in about the transition from 8th grade to high school, and to discuss four-year academic plans and getting involved here at YHS.

Fall Musical Information: 
James and the Giant Peach, based on the popular novel by Roald Dahl, is the story of a young orphan who enters a magical peach, and has a wild adventure with five magically-transformed insects on a journey to escape his two horrible aunts. This show promises great fun for the entire family! Music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hanson, Dogfight, A Christmas Story).
